Dining At Niho Mura Restaurant #Singapore.
If you want to try a relatively inexpensive eaterie, why not drop by the Nihon Mura chain of outlets which has a cult following of young people on a tight budget?
The catch? Everything here - yes, EVERYTHING - costs only S$1.50. From Sushi to Sashimi…to Soba and drinks.
The portions are small though. But for S$1.50 per dish, you really can’t complain!
We visited the outlet at Cineleisure Orchard in the middle of the afternoon at 4pm and it was still packed. During peak hours, the establishment will set a time limit for all diners. Only 60 minutes to chow down your sushi, sashimi and dessert!
The service at the Cineleisure Orchard outlet can be quite disorganized. I had to tell 2 different waitresses FOUR times that I was still waiting for my hot Ocha. I finally got my Ocha - 45 minutes later and after FOUR reminders.
Would I patronize this eaterie again? I doubt so. UNLESS I am on a very tight budget and very desperate for some sushi and sashimi.

A Japanese woman has undergone a startling physical transformation that has so far involved more than 30 cosmetic procedures at a cost of 10 million yen or US$102,000.
The lady, a model known as Vanilla Chamu, has said she intends to keep having surgeries until she has achieved her lifelong goal – to look like a French doll.
Photos of Vanilla prior to her first procedures reveal a rather mousy Japanese teenager whose facial features are virtually unrecognizable from the bizarre and undoubtedly more ‘western-looking’ appearance that she now possesses.
